| Titre | Dark Matter and Exotic Neutrino Interactions in Direct Detection Searches |
| Résumé | Future Dark Matter direct detection experiments will face the problem of detecting the neutrino floor, i.e. the irreducible background coming from the coherent scattering of solar neutrinos off nuclei. I will show that, contrary to the common lore, if there exists new physics which communicate with both the dark matter and the neutrino sector, the region of parameter space in which dark matter detection can be claimed is reduced even above the neutrino floor. |
