Résumé |
Epitaxial growth on non-planar substrates is a route to control the migration dynamics of atoms during growth. The effect of this on the growth and optical properties of quantum dots, and the subsequent possibility of tailoring dot size, shape and composition of single dots and coupled quantum dot molecules will be discussed. In addition, an overview of the III-V growth facility at the INSP will be given, demonstrating its capabilities for not only quantum dot but also high mobility 2DEG growth. |
