Résumé |
In this talk, I present a general classification of simplified models that lead to dark matter (DM) coannihilation
processes of the form DM + X -> SM_1 SM_2 via an s or t-channel mediator M. Here, the DM is assumed to be
an electrically neutral color singlet and all the possible simplified models are classified as a function of the
SU(3) x SU(2) x U(1) quantum numbers of X and M. These simplified models give rise to a wide variety of
collider signatures, some of them not explored in current LHC searches. I will comment on these signatures
as well as on the impact of a possible new search strategy for two specific examples of models where X and
M are color triplets. In the rest of this talk, I will show how to establish generic bounds on models with a
colored coannihilation partner, stressing the importance of non-perturbative effects in these scenarios. |
