| Titre | Statistical physics of operator growth |
| Résumé | "What is quantum chaos?" is a recurrent question, which never fails to bear new ideas: random matrices, eigenstate thermalization hypothesis (ETH), scrambling, operator growth, etc. I will present a laymans overview of these concepts, in particular their merit as attempted definition of quantum chaos. If time permits, I will discuss an approach much inspired by statistical physics (based on Phys. Rev. X 9, 041017 and recent unposted work). |
