How useful is the supergeometry to formulate supersymmetric quantum field theories?
For supergeometry, we mean the full technology of the supermanifolds,
with super differential forms, integral forms, the Cartan calculus, the Berezin integral
and the geometric integration. On the other side, supersymmetric and supergravity
theories have been initially formulated in components and, later, in the compact
and convenient language of superfields.
We present a unified view on these aspects and we show how the supergeometry
encompasses all superspace (and component) formulations of the same theory. |
