Résumé | I will describe a configuration with a traversable wormhole that can exist in complete, consistent theories of gravity. Direct interaction between the two ends of an Einstein-Rosen bridge can result in a quantum matter stress tensor with negative average null energy, rendering the wormhole traversable after gravitational backreaction. I will also comment on the quantum information interpretation from the perspective of an external observer. |
