| Titre | $T \overline{T}$ deformations and 2d Gravity |
| Résumé | In this talk we argue that a 2d quantum field theory deformed by $T\overline{T}$ should naturally be thought of as an IR description of a quantum theory of gravity. We further show that generic $T\overline{T}$ deformations are best understood when embedded into the context of boundary conformal field theories. Finally, we argue that these BCFTs are directly related to the physics of near extremal black holes, thus closing a tight circle of ideas in 2d quantum gravity. |
