Discrete Random Surfaces |
Résumé |
We will survey different models of 2D random surfaces connected to 2D Quantum Gravity:
uniformly random surface, random trees (branched polymers), or random planar maps. We will
study the geometry of typical surfaces in each of these models using combinatorial and
probabilistic tools.
We shall also recall the classic conjecture linking 2D Liouville Quantum Gravity and Random
Planar Maps, and review the problems we face in higher dimensions.
