Title | Transverse spin effects in the collinear twist-3 formalism |
Abstract | In this talk the collinear twist-3 formalism and its application to polarized single-inclusive hard processes is discussed. The main ingredients of that formalism, i.e., collinear hadronic matrix elements of two-or three-parton operators, and their relations are introduced in detail. Then simple lepton-nucleon processes relevant for an Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) will be discussed. I will also briefly talk about a recent NLO calculation in that formalism for electron-positron annihilation. |
