In this talk I will discuss the status of dS space in string theory from two
viewpoints. 1) I will overview (in a
hopefully pedagogical manner) some recent technical works that have critized
the KKLT scenario and
argue that the status of KKLT has not improved over the years. 2) This fits
in a bigger picture that questions
the very existence of constant dark energy from string theory, which is based
on more conjectural work
(the dS Swampland conjectures) and I will argue that these conjectures at
least form a self-consistent web. |
