Résumé | After a brief introduction to the type of questions that drive my research in general, I will illustrate specific results on the study of massive gauge theories at energies much above the mass of the vector bosons. In particular, I will present a novel formalism for all-orders perturbative calculations where power-counting (of mass/energy, and couplings) is manifest at the level of individual Feynman diagrams. The formalism might be used, practically, to simplify high-order calculations in the high energy regime, and theoretically to establish general properties of scattering amplitudes in kinematical configurations characterised by largely separated scales. This is illustrated by proving the simplest factorisation theorem (tree-level collinear factorisation) in the complete Standard Model theory. The result might be a step forward towards the understanding of the "IR problem" associated with Electroweak interactions. The talk is based on 1309.6055 and 1911.12366 . |
