Hall fluid at strong coupling |
|
Abstract |
I will discuss what we have learned about a particular (2+1)d fermionic
system at strong coupling using AdS/CFT correspondence. I will also
discuss what novel features might emerge in studies of fractional
quantum Hall fluids in laboratories. One such example is a relationship
for longitudinal and Hall electrical conductivities at low energies, a
rather robust result that seems to hold even for inhomogeneous phases. |
