Titre | Quantum design in colloidal nanocrystals used as building block for optoelectronics |
Résumé | I will try to cover some recent development regarding colloidal nanocrystals used for light emission and detection. I will start with discussion about development on bicolor emitting nanoplatelets relevevant as down converter for display and how the complex design of colloidal heterostructure can lead to nanoparticle breaking the Kasha's rule [1]. I will also discuss recent development regarding electroluminescence in the short wave infrared [2]. In the second part of my talk, I will swicth toward the use of infrared nanocrystals for the design of cost effective camera. As limited absorption remains a bottleneck, the end of the talk will be focused on the design of the light matter coupling in infrared nanocrystal film with in mind the enhancement of the optical absorption [3].
