Generalized global symmetries and their anomalies |

Résumé |
In these talks, I will give a pedagogical review on recent developments in
generalized symmetries in quantum field theories. We will begin by introducing
the concepts of higher-form global symmetries. We will then talk about mixed
anomalies between ordinary global symmetries and possibly with higher-form
global symmetries. The concept of symmetry extension, including two-group
structures, will be introduced. We will end the series of talks by discussing
non-invertible symmetries and their applications. |
