Titre | Baryogenesis from combined Higgs scalar field inflation |
Résumé | Cosmological inflation is nowadays a well established paradigm to solve the classical problems of the standard model of Cosmology and to generate the primordial density perturbations giving rise to the present Universe structure. I will present a model in which inflation is realized by the combined dynamics of two fields: the SM Higgs and a new scalar field coupled to the Ricci scalar. In this model, the value of the inflaton mass is decoupled from the inflationary dynamics. Hence, not only the new state triggers cosmological inflation but it also stabilizes the Higgs SM potential while opening up the possibility of direct or indirect detection at LHC and future accelerators. Lastly, with the inclusion of dimension-5 CP odd term, this model can also achieve the baryon asymmetry of the Universe through helical hypermagnetic fields. |
