Around Donaldson-Thomas invariants of symmetric quivers |

Abstract |
I shall talk about two new ways of understanding refined Donaldson-Thomas
invariants of symmetric quivers (defined by Kontsevich and Soibelman via the
cohomological Hall algebras). One of them is a result of my work with Evgeny
Feigin and Markus Reineke, where the upshot are certain (super)commutative
algebras with quadratic relations whose multigraded characters can be used to give
new interpretations of refined Donaldson-Thomas invariants. The other is a result
of my work with Sergey Mozgovoy, where the same invariants obtain an
interpretation in the context of vertex algebras. |
