Many materials or systems of physical interest are characterised by complex dynamics, i.e. slow, arrested, correlated or
chaotic, whose emergence is difficult to predict. In many systems, such dynamical behavior is controlled by the presence of
heterogeneous or disordered interactions. I will present some my recent works on this topic, addressing the arrested dynamics
of disordered graphene sheets, the dynamics of large ecosystems, and glassy dynamics, as well as highlight future directions. |
