Résumé | Relativistic fermions split into a two distinct pieces, usually referred to as left-handed and right-handed. One of the great discoveries of the 20th century is that fermions with a different handedness experience different forces. This chiral nature of our universe gives rise to many puzzles, from how to construct discrete versions of the laws of physics through to questions of particle scattering. Ill review some of these puzzles and describe recent progress in addressing them. |
