Titre | From graphene to graphite: the dynamics of Dirac fermions and many body interaction |
Résumé | The evolution of the electronic structure from single layer graphene [1,2] to infinite layer graphite [3,4,5] is studied by using high resolution angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES). The dynamics of the Dirac quasiparticles, the presence of electron and hole charge carriers and the existence of a gap in the excitation spectra are studied as a function of momentum, photon energy and layer thickness. A detailed analysis of the dispersion and the scattering rate will also be presented and discussed in terms of coupling of electrons to phonons. References: [1] S.Y. Zhou et al, in preparation [2] E.
