Titre | High pressure synthesis, crystal structure and physical properties of 3d transition metal oxides |
Résumé | Transition metal oxides show remarkable electronic and magnetic properties. High pressure synthesis method is quite effective in searching for new attractive transition metal oxides which are unavailable in ordinary condition. My recent studies in perovskite and related 3d metal oxides synthesized under high pressure will be presented. (i) Oxychloride high-Tc superconductors Ca2-xNaxCuO2Cl2 and Ca2-xCuO2Cl2 (ii) Oxychloride high-Tc superconductors : Ca2-xNaxCuO2Cl2(Na-CCOC) and Ca2-x CuO2Cl2(Ca-def) were investigated. High pressure single crystal growth, magnetic and structural properties of Na-CCOC and Ca-def will be shown. (ii) New A-site ordered double perovskite oxide CaCu3Co4O12. A new double perovskite oxide CaCu3Co4O12 has been discovered using high pressure synthesis method. Structural, magnetic, electronic, thermoelectric and calorimetric properties will be shown. |
