The "rootiness" of Stokes data |
Résumé |
I'll describe the simplest case of G-valued Stokes data (for irregularconnections on G-bundles), and the corresponding isomonodromicdeformations, both from the point of view of nonlinear differential equations and more topologically, as deformations
`preserving' the Stokes data. This was obtained (in 2001-2) by relaxing a few conditions in Dubrovin's approach to semisimple Frobenius manifolds,
and one sees the n-string braid groups in his story get naturally
replaced by G-braid groups. It seems that Joyce (and Reineke and
Kontsevich--Soibelman) have found that such isomonodromy connections govern certain wall-crossing problems. |
