The universal high temperature regime of directed polymers in random media |

Résumé |
Directed polymers in random media are one of the simplest models that contain many of the essential features of strongly frustrated random systems such as
spin-glasses. I will first show the connection between this model and the problem of a growing KPZ interface, than I will argue that, in the high temperature regime, the scaling functions of a directed polymer are described by a continuum model with a delta-correlated disorder and that they are universal up to only two parameters that can be explicitly computed. In one dimension this model can be studied analytically using Bethe Ansatz and shows mysterious connections with the random matrix theory. |
