Titre | Toward numerical experiment of quantum gravity |
Résumé | In this talk I will explain some numerical methods to study strongly coupled gauge theories, which can be used to learn about superstring theory via the gauge/gravity duality. Firstly I will explain the state of the art of Monte Carlo study of supersymmetric Yang-Mills. I will explain the detail of the thermodynamics of D0-brane quantum mechanics and show the numerical results supporting the duality at finite N. Then I will explain a simple lattice model which should be useful for learning about the thermalization of the black hole.
