Title Flavour Physics: A Precision Tool for Exploring Scale Separations
Abstract History has shown us that enhancements to effective couplings over expectations can lead to the discovery of new degrees of freedom at higher energy scales. This approach to searching for scale separations is as important as can be in current times. Direct detections of new particles beyond those in the Standard Model have not yet turned up a candidate. However, precision measurements in flavour physics allow for the probing of energy scales much beyond the energy at which these reactions occur. I will discuss several aspects of flavour physics that give us insights not only into physics at a few GeV, but also into physics at several TeV to demonstrate how powerful a tool it can be.
