Title | Leptogenesis from spontaneous symmetry breaking during inflation |
Abstract | Symmetry breaking in the Higgs field during cosmic inflaton can lead to condensation at a large vacuum expectation value (VEV). After inflation is over, the Higgs field must relax to the minimum of its effective potential, creating an era in which the CPT is effectively broken by the time-depended VEV. In this talk, I argue that the matter-antimatter asymmetry can be generated during this relaxation epoch. |
