Recent experiments with quantum Hall edge states allowed one to measure
current correlations in an electron collider, where a pair of non-equilibrium edge
states are scattered across a quantum point contact. In the fractional quantum Hall
regime this setting offered a possibility to test anyon statistics of quasiparticles.
Remarkably, in the integer quantum Hall regime at \nu=2 when the system is driven
out of equilibrium by a finite bias voltage, the measurements showed unexpected results.
In this talk I will discuss a theoretical model of these experiments, and will present an
exact solution of this model which explains the experimental observations. |
